How much do you guys sell fat hogs on the rail for ? I sell fat cattle on the rail , was wandering if a guy could make a dollar on hogs . Get 2.00 and 2.25 for steers .

Holy crap,you get 2 and a quarter for steer's?They are only 1 65 Canadian up here.

Friends and family it s $2.00 , Other customers it s $2.25 . Thats hanging weight , They pay for prossesing I haul them to the slaughter house . I went up the extra $.25 when corn went out of sight , I dont have my own and have to buy it . They are still getting super beef in there freezer for under three bucks . Everyone is happy with it . There s alot of people out there that hav nt ever had a GOOD steak .

I don't know of any one who sells them "on the rail". Folks around here sell by live weight. You can get a hog delivered to the local slaughter house for .40 to .50.
