IHC 856 side pannels

Just wondering why some 856 have all white side pannels and some have white and red, was there a change during production?
 
All 856's had the all red side panels. (The only white was the strip where the black Int decal plate was located). If one has white side panels, it is likely an 806.
 
Ive seen some 856s with all white side pannels
I know most of them are red and white, just trying to find out why some are red and some white.
