Our son lives in Edmund and ras a business in OK city.Lots of bad weather this year but so far ,no serious damage to his house and property.

Fire is good for some things but when it's out of control like that about all you can do is get out of the way! I had one field this year I burnt off nearly get away from me , I worked like crazy and lit a backfire to control it. By the way how's your hay situation?

yea I was watching the news yesterday, and it was strange, you would see a fire with 10 houses setting there 5 or 6 blocks away one would be on fire,it amazes me that firefighters can even put out a fire in that kind of wind.especially when those dang cedars just explode sending sparks everywhere.we were lucky at our place this time.one good thing, those old hay fields will be a lot better generally for being burnt off.

cedar should be erradicated. they are nothing but a fire hazard. I am very sorry to hear about my Southern neighbors bad luck. could happen up here too, we are dry as a bone.
