potato advise

was thinking of trying to plant a few potato this year, what do you think of using a 2 row lister to make furrows and a go devil to cultivate with? any other tips or advise?

I kind of do it the same way. I plow and disk first to get the soil soft and churned up. I then take my Dearborn three-point-hitch culitivator and put three big shovels on the back. Makes three good and deep furrows perfect for potatoes.

I DO have an Iron Age one two row planter, but haven't gotten around to fix it. It's been in my shop for four years now.

Google planting potatoes using straw. Saves a lot of work, hoeing and such. Here is one site of many.
