Farmall Super A Serial #

I purchased a nice working super A today and It had a factory hydralic system which everyone had not seen on these. It came out of SC. I looked up the serial # and it reads 350928 and according to what I have looked up and I am new at this , I would say its a 1954 by the number. but I also read where the serial numbers that started the 1954"s was a higher number than mine after the first two digets 35----. If someone can identify my number as accurate and knows about the hydralic system on a 54 Super A , then please email me
Thanks Richard from central north carolina

Thanks Andy, a website showed me that any number starting in 35 would be 54 so do you have an accurate book that my number was in? And if so where can I get one?

If you are unsure if this is the correct year, check the tractor's casting codes. The letter at the end of the code is the year. Example code: 1-10-M would be Jan 10, 1943. The letter is the year. Casting codes are stamped in many parts on the tractor. Numbers that end with DA, DB, R1, R91, etc are not date codes, they are part numbers.

1947 - Q
1948 - R
1949 - S
1950 - T
1951 - W
1952 - X
1953 - Y
1954 - Z

Thank you Andy. I am excited about restoring this tractor being that it had a factory auxillary hydralic pump mount on it with handle and hook up hoses. I would think this would make it a rare Super A. Any thoughts or knowledge on that would be appreciated. Have a good week .
