OT - IOWA Courts

Heard that on the news. What the h*ll has happened to that STATE? Too many people listen to nnalert promises?

You need to get real rowdy and have all the rednecks you know (that are not homos) go down to the Iowa court building and throw rocks, bottles and other stuff. Show your distaste for allowing queers to get married......Also throw out comments that the judges need to be voted OUT.

I thought Iowa was a conservative state.....I guess not.

I explained it to you guru. San Francisco got to expensive and they all moved to college towns in the midwest and Texas. You advice is awful. If some one does that they will soon be in chains seeing a different judge. After that they will spend months hanging out exclusively with men, in a place that has no seats on the toilets, community showers, and desperately trying to mind there own business. If someone does throw rocks and bottles at a judge please let us know how it works out, that is if you survive the hail of 40 Cals that will start up seconds after your protest does.

Eh, that's just Iowa's latest attempt to shed its title of Most Boring State in the Union. But it won't work. You could move the entire populations of San Francisco and Key West to Des Moines and the place would still be as boring as a Baptist wedding reception.

730 Virgil is right. DSM is abundant. They are agonizing over the budget woes, lack of money going to have to lay off municipal employees, but some how they have the money ($3million) for a new homeless shelter that the adjacent property owners absolutely don't want.
It all started over homeless shacks along the DSM river. Some one donated building materials and there were about a dozen shacks built. One of them burned down when the resident knocked over a propane heater inside. After that, the city council decided they had to demolish them all "For their safety". All of a sudden the current homeless shelter became inadequate. They figured the people living in the shacks could not possibly be happy. I would think the people living in them would be happier in them with something they could call their own, as opposed to staying in a shelter or mission.
Yes, the DSM city council has their heads up where the sun doesn't shine.

I remember a story about a homeless shelter. After it was built the homeless would not use it because of the rules they had to go by. Four million dollars waisted.

Exactly. The problem is NOT with Iowa. The problem is with the liberals in Des Moines. You can bet those 7 judges will NOT be getting my vote again.
