Scammers on YT

Just a post to alert anyone who does not already know that the internet scammers(most likley Indian or Pakastani) have found their way to YT.
Several photo adds have shown up from one or more scammers. 4 from someone Named Abdul (multiple last names) from TX advertising lke new tractors at insanely cheap prices. for example, a 1086 like new for $2500. His hope is that greed will over ride your common sense. I contated him (E-mail, no phone number listed) pretending to be interested. He claims that you can not see or test drive the tractor because it is already crated and containered in the hands of the shipper awaiting (free) shipment. all you have to do is send secure payment through E-bay secure payment website. The tractor will be shiped and If you do not want it, they will pay to have it shiped back at their expence.
First the E-bay site is a fake not attatched to the real e-bay. likley set up by a group of these scammers to make it look safe to send money.
Be wary of any add that does not contain a specfic address or phone number. watch for problems with their command of the english language and its slang. the add for the 1086 said "it has bever been laid down" another add called a front loader a "front hydralic raised snow pusher"
Please report suspected fake adds to YT"s tech people asap to keep our beloved site clean.
Thanks for letting me vent
Bob

I agree, lets all try and keep this kind of trash out of here. These filthy scumbags are trying everything these days

Every time I have posted a wanted ad on here I have gotten an email from a nice lady in Bronx NY who has "just what I am wishing to find". All I have to do is send her my credit card info along with some more personal info and she will ship me a gear box off a kuhn 66 disk mower or a ford row crop draw bar with great haste. She will never send a picture or describe the item she has but will send it with free shiping if you will just give her your info.

I guess there is no where on the web where you can hide from these lice.

Of course, you just had to get the Indian or Pakistani comment in. What a stupid comment. Do you not have enough scammers that are whites that go to your local church on Sundays? Lots of them there and also that frequent the YT site, believe me.

I'm not sure what you mean by me being "one of them". Do you mean that I am of Indian or Pakistani descent? I can assure you that I am not, and also I can assure you that it would make no difference to me whether you were or not. Are you still living in the past with this color or race thing? Goodness, let's get on with life and not be so foolish. I repeat again, the original post contained a stupid comment, it's just that simple.

While it may have sounded racest, it was not intended to be. Reading scam reports on the web indicates that a vast majority of those who have limited command of english or the proper jargon used in describing some items are unemployed angry young men from that part of the world. I will post a link to sites with scam reports when I get some more time.

My Gawd, we've even got to be politically correct in dealing with scammers? Next thing you know, Barney Frank will have rammed through (no pun intended) legislation requiring us to deal with anyone who identifies himself as a Nigerian prince.

Always nice to hear from you, A Comment (or whatever the nom de plume du jour is today)- its just your comments that get a bit grating.

Has anyone ever thought of the very real possibility that these scammers are phishing for real and accurate email addresses? I have heard that authentic email lists sell for good dinars in some of the third (or fourth) world litter boxes.
When you respond you have given the parasites a direct line into your mailbox, don"t worry about your server"s SPAM blocker, you have just given the vermin an open invite into your computer.
Just food for thought.

Where is racism mentioned here? And 75% of false advertising comes from Nigeria - not pakistan.
