its very sad, by the age of the victims, most survived a full life and probably WWll also only to be lost to a mental case that should have been in a nut ward long ago, there is no 1 cause some of it is lack of parental guidance when they were young, then theres the lawyers and case workers who advocate giving these psycos a break because "they had a rough childhood" as well as judges who let these kind of people walk when they should jail them, i doubt its the ecomony here as most of these types dont work, they draw their living from those that do, you are probably right its going to get worse,how much nobody can say

It think these nut cases want to make the news and the news is only to happy to comply. As long as the media makes a big fuss over these incidents they will continue.

Heard short report on news last night, Sunday paper had short article- both gave bare basics of shooting but little on the shooter beyond he wasn"t a former employee and didn"t seem to have a relative in the home- so no connection to home or residents at this time, just randome target? Need some more background on shooter to form any opinion, maybe have some in couple days? RN

I do not like franken for his veiws on abortion, gun control, indecent talk, legalization of same GENDER marraiges, higher income taxes, there are also his articles in certain magazines that I feel are very distastefull. That is why I did not vote for him and those are not the veiws that I beleive are good for America, so I voted for some one else. I dont hate Franken, I just do not beleive he is a person I want representing me, because he doesnt represent me, he represents many things I am not for. As far as being in control, well yes, I feel I have the right to be in control of my life, my family"s safety, and my finances. As far as not liking it. There are many things I do not like right now, and there are many things I do like. You on the other hand seem to dislike just about every one, which is why I wonder why you frequent this board. I really wish I knew you better because I hate to think that I am developing a dislike, not hate, for you based on your arrogant rambling to many good people"s responses. Latest news in Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal: Shooter estranged wife works or worked in nursing home. Ex-wife said shooter was contacting family members to say possible goodbye, had cancer and was "going away". Maybe find out more later. RN

All part of the economic problems we currently face and a general disregard for morality and God's designs for human conduct. More and more people are being stressed beyond the breaking point...and those with marginal mental stability are losing control of themselves. We probably haven't seen anything yet as more and more people lose their good jobs and the effects of the elimination of the middle class trickles up to the rich and down to the poor here in America and then to the rest of the world. It just could be that our world is headed for diaster and our country may be the leader in the decline of modern civilization that will bring this diaster about. Look at the character and heritage of our current political leadership and where it seems to be taking us......Look too at how the priviliged rich are hoarding up the world's monetary and material wealth. Just try to imagine what the end result will most likely be....Read your bible....if by chance you believe in what it says. Then, take time to think about what's really important in your life....

I don't see why that is in the court system. The people are supposed to elect the rep. The first election eliminated the 3rd party. The other 2 are so close, it is a tie. Why not have another election with only the 2 candidates running? It probubly would be cheaper than all the lawyers fees.

You will NEVER hear on the news about all the times someone uses a gun to SAVE a life. The only place you get those stories is to read about them in the American Rifleman .
