it has been reported that great conservationist and leader of the free world al gore didn't turn off his lights last night.
in fact he had flood lights shining on some of his trees.

Remember that rich bit*h, socialite on the east coast, Leona Helmsley (sp)? She was a tax cheat and got caught. Was super wealthy, but when she got caught she made the statement that taxes were for the little people.

Well Al Gore is an absolute idiot. But this is the way he thinks. He says one thing, but that is the way us little people should behave, not him. He is the elite.

He was obviously lighting up the trees so some renegade logger didn't come in and clear-cut them in the night. Lot of that going around lately.

In other news, the Capital Press (ag newspaper for the Pacific Northwest) reported on "degree days" for various parts of Washington for Jan 1 through March 19. 2008 was down about 30% from 2007, and 2009 is down more than 50% from 2007. Perenniel crops are at least 3 weeks behind normal around here. Sure don't see much "warming" anywhere in the country over the past couple of years.
