Have a full aut 25 kw generator with a john deere diesel engine,used to work great in a barn.Now put a pannel on the unit to make it portable but as soon as it fire"s up and it reaches the rpm it shutt"s down what good it be

Sounds like maybe a Neutral and Grounding issue from the new panel installation???

What's tripping the genset off and how? Is it opening a main breaker or contractor? Or is it shutting down the engine?
