Factory T/A delete??

Many were ordered that way. Some had transmission driven PTO and no TA, some had IPTO and No TA some had TA and IPTO. There were no Trans driven PTOs With TA. JimN

is that your real name or just your handle? did not think any one else in the world had that name spelled the same

I had a 560d with no ta because it was worn out,so I bought used parts and put it back together, and then it had a torque amplifier, which worked great.Later on I sold it ,and it went to Mexico.By the way you have to split it to do the repairs, whitch is no fun.

T/A could be replaced with a shaft after market also. HyCapacity had a kit for it, less money than the T/A. I thought about it for the 1066 back in 1992 or so, but went ahead and put the T/A back in. Only really used the tractor a couple more years before we rented the ground, the 1066 hasn't seen 500 hours since then. DOUG

Same here Ken, sorry I couldn't visit with you more. My grandson kept me pretty busy that day. He loves them old tractors. I hope I can keep him interested in them when he gets older.

Does anyone realy have a last name of Bacon? Doesn't sound real to me at all. Probably the only thing that kept you from getting beat up on the playground would be telling everyone you had a good looking cousin. Just my thoughts!

we should start our own fan club you are the first person i have found with the same spelling. what part of Iowa? we come over to New Hampton every year for the Davies Motorcycle rally. I'm from Fremont WI.send me a email off the forum if you would. [email protected]

there are 2 kinds of T/A s. ones that are out and ones that are going out. Have to double split to fix them. Most guys around here already have them eliminated.

Just found out today my son Jason was at a party in Cedar Falls. He was hitting on a girl, then the girl told her mom she met a real young fireman from Garnavillo. Yea--- we (both of the parents) asked the same questions to our kids--did you date each other? My cousin, (P-nuts daughter) and I were both relieved. Dating cousins is frowned upon in my home town, perhaps not a big deal in other parts of the county, (the town near the antique show area) You can marry your sister, and never raise a eyebrow.

Give me a yell sometime, I will steal my son's Ranger, and show you some of the bluffs near Bloody Run camp ground==Just west of the Prarie Du Chine bridge. Totaly breath taking view.

I don't coment on this board as much as I used to. seems everything ends up with poly--ticks somehow or other. Tool talk is the first one I hit, usualy daily.

Gee s, small world, my first counsin lives at garnavillo and his son is Jason, and they are on the fire dept.
heck, not only the school grounds, even at work, lol, ya, it was a name to put up with back then.

My sister deserves it more than me anyway, we got our fair share. I think 1986 it was 82 yesterday and everyone pretty much had their oats in by then. I may have my dates off (year), but I'm pretty sure thats correct.

There is some sort of plowing days down in your area, can you keep me up to speed on that?

My exwife's mom came from England, couldn't talk red neck at all. Therefore my step daughter Nikki always got a ribbing from me about being a dumb Englishman. She was waiting at the door one night after she found Sir Francis Bacon was English, and therefore all Bacons were dumb Englishman also. I told her (bold face lie)I was adopted, and therefore I wasn't English.

Sorry, it wouldn't be my nature to just say Hi to my cousin with the same last name. No way could most folks make any sence of my BS.

back to the t/a, what was the proper way to use it? some said let go of the handle and let it fall in, others said to push it in, (other words) ease the handle in, on the 300 s to the 560, i guess after that they had to be PUSHED in.
