Oh what fun

Took the 1755 Oliver apart today, gonna put in a new clutch. All was going well and I was quite pleased with myself at how good it was going and I thought to myself , wow I'll get this baby back together today and won't tie up the shop, WRONG!!! Pulled the over under off, only to find the throwout bearing carrier to be junk, I thought I had planned this out so I wouldn't have trouble but that ugly Murphy that wrote that law so long ago reared his head on me again. Found a new carrier about 50 miles away but they close at noon and it was already 11:30 and they are quite proud of it,$192.00. Oh well, time to clean the shop and have a cold beer, the work is done for today on this old Oliver. Hope your day is going better. :>)

is that the tractor you took the nasty road trip for or a different one? yes and a beer sounds real good, have a good one

Ah,the work's never done. I got the transmission put back together in the 1550 yesterday, but as long as it's still in the shop,I'm going to take the hood off and see if I can ground the fuel guage and get it working.
