Super A Steering

Is there any way to take any free travel out of the Steering on a Super A ?

Of course there is start at the place where the most play appears like tie-rod ends to the arm coming off the sector then removing sector replace two bushings two bearings and two seals and the key in the out-put shaft and it will steer like new again. Parts will run around 50 bucks. Ive rebuilt several in the last few yrs with great results.

Yes, check the archives. I fixed mine by replacing the vertical shaft and steering arm. Not cheap. On another, I fixed it by shimming the square end and replacing the key in the sector gear the bearings seals and just about everything in the gearbox. Check out this link.
