helping a friend of mine putting the head back on his M. what is the torque spec's for it. he does not have a manual or a torque wrench. knowing how he operates i will end up supplying the rite tools and doing most of the work.

forgot to ask also what is the tappet setting on the m?

I believe it is 110 ft-lbs.

I just done my M and the proper setting for the tappets is .017 hot......the guys told me too set them at .020 cold and it would be close.
