Wheel Horse Tiller

This may not be the right place, but I've run into dead ends everywhere else.
I have a Wheel Horse Econo Horse tiller with a Tecumseh engine. I need a replacement carburetor but cannot find one. On the engine is: H60-75505R Sep 00 22D On the carburetor is 1115A0J (not sure if it is a zero or the letter O)

I sure would appreciate it if anyone would direct me to where I can get a carburetor. Or to some place that can direct me to where I can get a carburetor.
 
There's Tec GURUS over at www.perr.com. Their parts dept. MAY be able to help you, or sign up and post for help on the message Board there.

LOTS of Tec carbs on ebay, from time to time, as well.
 
It's a very common carb and any small engine shop should have one on the shelf. Tecumseh sells a generic "fits all" replacment. Seems with all the snowblowers getting junked, there ought to be plenty of used ones around. Some of the old H60s had Walbro carbs, but most have the generic Tecumseh carb. Easy to work on, and just about any carb from a H50, H60, or H70 will work. Some snowblower carbs have slightly different choke plates that are easily swapped.

I haven't been able to find a Tecumseh engine web site. When I go to tecumseh.com it is something else.
 
JimRob, if that"s a Troybilt, then there is a Yahoo group of very knowledgable Tiller enthusiasts located here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/troybilttillerclub Lots of good discussion on that group about tillers and the engines that came on them, as well as a number of folks you can order parts from. -Stephen
 
I received an email yesterday from a small engine dealer who said that Tecumseh went out of business on January 29 but the company was bought out in early February by someone else. He had no more details. :cry: :cry:
