Whats better to soak a froze up carb in??

Get you a gallon of parts cleaner at any parts store. They usually have a strainer to dip parts in and out of it. Blow out all passenges with air compressor afterwards. Neither gas or diesel will clean them.

Froze from what ? rust ? if so soak it in the works toilet bowl cleaner. If an alum. one don't leave it in very long at all or it will melt it !

P.B. Blaster. Spray it on the stuck parts, let it set. Spray on some more, let it set. Might take a day or two. If it is a cast iron carb, you can apply some heat in strategic areas. Gasoline will do nothing. Diesel fuel will do nothing. Berryman's chem dip is a waste of money.

Kroil works the best as far as i am concerned. you can use any other brand of penetrating oil there is and get good results but when you use Kroil, it will loosen everything quickly without damage so you can take it apart and clean everything out. just my 2 cents.
