talked to a guy tonight who has his dads old allis C, in great condition. Its orignal, been stored under cover, engine not seized and front tires shot, about 80% rears. It even has lights.

OK, so im not sure its a C. neither is he. I showed him my B and he said it looks about the same with a narrow front and a little wider rear end. So its 99% a C or CA.

He said he was gonna scrap it. I asked him how much he thought it would bring and he said hed rather see it find a good home, and $200 delivered and shes mine.

He said it was running a few years ago (ran when parked) when they got their new one. He tried getting it going a little while later but it ate a coil and he could never get the new one on right. So its sat there. For 3 or 4 years. This should be fun. He said the starter doesnt work on it. My last C really diddnt turn out that well and id really like a C, so its take two. Wish me luck and lets hope this pans out!!!

Dear God.. MikeCA might read this and decide to purchase another tractor. I guess this means that you are scrpping your plans to attend college. They don't give out "tractor scholarships".

Good Luck on the new "old" iron.

Now if you can figure out how to attract the young ladies like you are attracting the Persian Orange tractors, you'll have it made!
