wisconsin ID

Hello i have a wisconsin engine that runs good on my log splitter with no ID tag. The engine looks old but in great shape. It has a magneto and a rope cord start.I think about 9 HP. Has the numbers AA 91 A on the case. Any ideas??? Where can i get a tag??

Try Wisconsin Motors LLC, 2021 MacArthur Road, Waukesha, WI 53188. Sorry, I don't have any more numbers (tel, EMail, etc) than that.

If you happen to have the head removed from the engine at some point, just measure the bore and stroke of the of the block. Sent the info to me, and I can narrow the model down to a few, or maybe even one engine model.

Hi john, the engine is running good so i dont plan on taking the head off anytime soon. It seems to be a good old engine.I just would like to more about it.My uncle just told me it was a 9HP.Thats all, no year or ID. thanks

AA-91-A is the block casting number for a model

Thanks,i just looked up Wisconsin AENL and thats it,9.2HP Thanks! Any idea where i can get an ID plate for it?
