Would you buy this?

As I can not find a paying job that pays well enough to live on. I thought I might try this.I have found from other employment and have an in to buying good quality industrial supplies that are name brands also at a reasonable price. I thought of buying shop supplies that I use and try selling at tractor shows on the week ends .I would stop at local business during the week and take E mail orders from people that had bought at tractor shows until I had enough traffic to warrant an web page. If the quality and price was there would you buy shop supplies in this manner or from E mail. Thanks for all opinions and help.

You will find loyalty to suppliers in their home town (justifiably so) to be a factor in getting started. Selling products they can't get at home that actually work as advertized is my take on it. JimN

I'd be warry of it just being a scam - Harbor Frieght quality stuff.

Several auctions have an openning 15 minutes like that - The Toolman has some new stuff for sale, bids run up to wherever his price is, and then 5 or 10 people can buy that item. I tend to go get a coffee at that time..... See a lot of people not really paying attention to it.

--->Paul Let me clarify this for you. If you bought stainless bolts, brake clean, grade 8 North American made bolts or other stuff from the 4 inch thick catalog I have (similar to McMaster Car)from me at a tractor show you would know of the quality was when you bought it.If you wanted more or other sizes you could then E mail your next order.

Not near enough details about what you would sell to make an opinion. In general, folks want cheap, cheap, cheap. Put quality last in almost every decision. They will nickel you to death. And nobody will buy from e-mail only. Tom
