I bought a HD 7' Long bushog yesterday at a auction.I noticed when they loaded it for me the stump jumper was very thin and had a place rolled up like a sardine can near one of the blade bolts. The cutter is red and had a Long logo on the side of it.I did a search on long farm eq. with no luck.I know Long used to sell tractors but not cutters.

There were several "Long" brands around - from the USA and some from overseas. One Long company was around in the 60s and specialized in tobacco and lima bean equipment, as well as brush cutters, harrows, etc.
