Just looking at the picture, I can tell where the still water stops and the running water starts. I will go thru a reasonable amount of still water, such as would be backed up along a creek or river. WILL NOT cross running water over about 3 inches deep. Once I can't see that the road is OK under the running water you have to assume the worst, meaning there is a washout in the road. The only exception to this rule is if someone else makes it thru with a similar vehicle, then I will follow IMMEDIATELY. I have done this on my mail route before. DOUG
