All The High Priced Tractors ARE Back -It is Spring

I just took a look at the for sale ads and it seems that the prices are higher than ever.It is just like the stock market, everyone is trying to sell their over priced tractors.Wait til they find out they won't sell. Maybe there will be a tractor owner bailout?

Well, the used tractor market here is the same as last year. I have 4 nice yard/garden tractors for sale at reasonable prices, plus several walk-behind mowers, self propelled, and i think, if somebody needs a tractor or mower, they might buy one of mine! We'll see!
Note: This is not to be comstrued as an advertisement to sell them here, in this forum! Just stating how i feel about the subject of "Pooring down America"!

I just looked at the for sale section too and holy cow!-looks like the economy hasn't slowed that market one bit.Looks like the under $2000 tractor selection is getting very thin.Just like the everything else-the gap between the haves and the have nots just keeps growing.I'm not knocking anyone who can profit from their hobby/business-but man, the pool of eligible buyers has to be thinning quite a bit.Maybe I'm just naive.

Someone said "Surely them with plenty money and no brains was made for them with plenty brains and no money". That applies to a lot of things in life, I think. If someone wants it for that price and has the money then why not?

Here in our area of Western Pa., things seem to be going along fairly well. Not many for sale signs yet on the plan homes. The fancy cars are still in plentiful supply, as i saw today at the local gas station. Everybody seems to be going to work every day. The car dealers aren't advertising as much, but i haven't seen any go "belly-up" yet.
One old time used car dealer tried to burn his business out, but the excitement of setting the whole front row of cars on fire was too much for his old heart! They found what was left of him in the ashes of 10 used cars he had cooked!
Our bluegrass club is still going strong-folks are still driving some distance to attend! the beer is still flowing good! The grass is greening up! (Not that kind--the kind ya have to mow every week!) We're still eating well. But-time will tell, after O gets done messing up the country, getting his socialists in every good office and job, and making us fair game for any commie country that wants to take us over!

Here in NE Ohio and West Pa, the normal flow has always been to sell unwanted equipment in the spring to get the best price, the buy needed equipment when prices are low in the fall.
