picking your brains ?? hey john bucket truck parts

Hey guys and gals-- been a while but I have a question- a buddy of mine has a bucket truck and needs the rope (or what ever you call it, that is the problem) that pulls the last section in and out-- it is a black outside w/ a lot of strings ?? inside about 3/8 of an inch round-- it is on a PEIRCE bucket truck last made by Serv-I-Lift can't seem to find where to buy this rope or rope cable what ever it is called anywhere anyone got any Ideas John thnks loads

yeah tried that we don't have many crane shops around here anyway this is a fairly old machine so I don't know if the newer ones use the same thing If I knew who made the machines now I would go right to them on the net. if you have any other ideas I would appreciate it
