DC Starter

I need a starter for my Case DC. It is a hand crank , but it has a plugged hole for the starter. Will a starter fom an SC fit ? Is the drive the same ? I see a pix of one and it looks the same . It is the type that mounts with a pinch bolt. Thanks.....Dale

make sure your flywheel has teeth on it for starter, some early a. c. did not have them don't know about case.

I have a 39 and I think it came with out starter originally but not sure. Anyway mine has MAB 4105 starter which is listed for 41 and newer. Some combines used the same MAB 4105. Strter drive is same for SC. I was told but cannot confirm my starter has same armature as some Hudsons from the 30's. I don't have a listing for 39's so can't compare part #s. SC does list a different # so don't know if it will fit.

Go to Case forum and ask around to make Sure....... Far too many variables
