help price a 1961 mcormic farmall 340 diesel

i am trying to sell my 340 diesel tractor i dont know how much to price it for. it has power steering,quick hitch and the torgue amplifier.the sheet metel is in decent shape and it runs good.i like to get as much as i can.but dont want to price it to high because i need to sell it, can anyone help me out

That is one odd tractor. Anybody,s guess. Book says $ 800.00 for average as is. When you look at sales not many to compare it to as there was,n that many ever sold. More wide front utility,s sold. That being said anywhere from $ 800.00
to $ 3,500.oo depending on how bad the other guy wants it. Does it start and run clean or does it white smoke for a minuted after it is started. ? Does T.A> work ?

I'm not a Farmall collector, but would guess it is a pretty desireable tractor. It is not near as common as a 460-560 and is a nice size to trailer behind a 1/2 ton truck. Both of those and the diesel motor should drive the price up. If the TA works that is another plus. Finally the fast-hitch will help the value.

I really don't know what it is worth, but if it were mine and it runs and operates well, I would put it on the photo ads here and price it at 3,500.

Well heres my take on it it looks straight for a tractor of the age But the rubber is short and it is in need of paint . plus it is a narrow ft. So if it runs good the T/A works and has no engine problems then i would place the value at around the 1500-2000 dollar mark and that is being fair . Now if it was all gone over with new paint new seat and good rubber then yes it would fall into the 32-3500 mark.
