cordless portable grease gun help

We bought several 18v guns from John Deere, I think they are made by Lincoln. We have used them all summer on the combines and through the fall harvest plus through the spring planting season for two years now and they have been flawless. They will run a surprisingly long time on a charge too, maybe four or five tubes, I kinda forget exactly how many. You can get a cigarette lighter charger for them. One of the guys ran over one with a combine which was a bit beyond the limits of durability. We did save the hose, though. Jim

I wonder if the bateries interchange with any other cordless tools? I have a few 18v Dewalt chargers and batteries, I wish they would make me a grease gun. Oh well...

No I dont think they do. Why make it easy for us. I have Ryobi, Makita, Craftsman and Skill, none of the batieres will inter change.

I had the 18 volt grease gun. I'll never use an air operated one again. Hate dragging the air line around. Get the grease gun that comes with two batteries up front. You'll be glad to have two batteries right from the start.
