anyone have a sugar bush around the Finger lakes in Upstate

looking for someone that runs a sugar bush around Penn Yan, NY to give them a hand in it's operation as i have the time to help and learn how it's done.

Don't need pay -- just want to help out...

I used to a know a gal that had a sugar bush...but she was in Texas. In fact, all the sugar bushes I have known..were down south. I know where there is three growing in North Carolina, one in Tennessee, one in Alabama, one in South Carolina, one in Florida and several here in Kentucky. I tapped sugar bush in Seattle and northern California, Kansas City and a few others I don"t rightly recall right now. It"s all pretty much the same, some sweeter than others, some make more sap.

I am sure if you are willing to learn, you will find somebody with a sugar bush and they will teach you how to tap it. Go for it!

We just set our 15 taps today, just doing it for ourselves and visitors. I am in Orwell, NY about 2 hours from Penn Yan. Probably our operation is too small and far away for you to want to visit, but if you do you're welcome.
