Whats the best method to reduce the number of moles? I had a bunch of them last year. I'm going to try some of that stuff that suppose to kill the grubs in the ground that they eat. Any other good meathods to get rid of them?

Once you have a cat that figures out how to catch them, you'll never have a mole problem again.

If you have a dog that catches them, you'll never have a yard again.

Those yard windmills must work. several years ago, l noticed them all over the neighbor's yard sticking in mounds, later placed in a row along fenceline. moles moved under field fence to find new home on my place. got lucky & a barn cat showed up, & i no longer have a cat hating dog to chase it off.Boy,he has really knocked down mole population! fun to watch him work.

I have no trouble getting rid of them...I just use the tractor with LOADED tires to mow with..and they LEAVE....!!!!
Maybe they are dead, I dunno, but they are no trouble after that...!!

I have a good mole dog. He won't give up until he digs them out. I use to try to make him stop until I dicided that his damage was not as bad as the moles. Now I tell him to go for it. Only problem now is that he likes to lay them on the patio. One time there was three moles laying on the patio.

Most people believe old wives tales about removing moles, I beleive that the only true way to remove them is to trap them and kill them. Moles don't just eat grubs, grubs are only available for a short time each year, moles eat earthworms which are always available and it would be unfortunate if you could or did kill the earthworms to get rid of the moles. There are several good traps available, check out this web site for some pretty good information.
