I sent an inquiry to that fellow that was scamming the 730 Diesel, Wide Front, Electric Start, No spinout rims. When I learned what he was trying to do, I typed up my usual nasty e-mail telling him what I thought of him. Just before I hit send, I thought I'll play along. Here is some of the questions I asked him, fully knowing there was no answer.
I had a few other questions to ask
1. How are the power brakes, do they leak any fluid?
2. Does this tractor have the 18V or 36V starting system?
3. Does this machine have the two stick trans with the high low option for reverse?
4. Does this tractor have a distributor and coil, or a magneto?
5. Have you had to add any air to the float ride seat suspension?
6. Have you checked the aircleaner lately, when they get old they accumulate oil in the bath pan.
7. Have you ever moved the spin out rims?
8. Does this machine have the optional pull start rope for low battery conditions?
9. What is the roll-o-matic suspension like, did the front shocks get replaced during the overhaul?
10. Does the foot throttle stick, or is it pretty free?
I know this seems like a lot of questions but I am quite interested. Thanks for your time, I hope to hear from you soon. Chris.
His reply was:
Chris,
The power brakes are good, they leak no fluid. The tractor has the 36v starting system. The machine has the two stick transmission with the high low option for reverse. It has a distributor and coil. I never added any air to the float ride seat suspension, maybe my grand father did before he died. The aircleaner is almost new. I've never moved the spin out rims. The machine has the optional pull start rope for low battery conditions. The front shocks were replaced during the overhaul. The front throttle is pretty free.
I was very happy to answer to all your questions.

Hope you all get a laugh!
