Towed it around endlessly yesterday too, after
-cleaning the plugs
-changing the gas filled black new oil
-triple checking the timing
-checked for spark (blue on all 4)
-checked plug order (1243)
-timing, we pulled the valve cover off, and the mag cap and
-intake opens
-intake closes
-mag snaps and passes over #1
-exhaust opens then closes
so we know were on
to add to the fun, we know timings not an issue because we moved the mag very minutially from one end of the spectrum to the other.
So what do we try now?? Ive got to change the oil twice in a non running tractor unless someone knows how to get the gas out of it.
Id guess the carb. Id even put money down. Its off the C, the tractor from hell, and i think my misfortune with that tractor is carrying over to this one. Someone suggested checking the needle and seat. What do i check for??? Do i need a new gasket if i open it up??
We do know one thing IT IS NOT TIMING
Any other ideas??
