SAME tractor

I have a SAME tractor which is 85 hp, diesel, air cooled...I have had the tractor for 8 years now. I have plowed, pulled a 15th batwing, used side cutters, etc. with this tractor. Never have had any trouble with the tractor. The tractor is a Row Crop type. I was attempting to determine how much this tractor might be worth and whether or not anyone was collecting such a tractor. I have never came across another at an auction, etc. Does anyone have an idea about what I have.

Yeah I occasionally see them at auctions. Most are pretty well beat and they don't sell for much. I think they usually bring about $4,000 at auction.

There was a dealer who sold them around here about 35 years ago- still a lot of them going strong. They bring very little at auction, but they're a tough tractor.

This doesn't answer the Question, but SAME is now one if the largest tractor manufacturers in the world. They don't brand any with their own name anymore, but they make tractors for every American brand, including Deere. I didn't know it til a year or so ago,but they even built some for Oliver at one time. They were all sold in Europe with the Oliver name.

I have a good friend that has one they have fed cattle with for years. It stays back at the calving pens where there is no electricy. He claims it will start anytime of the year, unfailing. I cant substantiate it, but this is what I've been hearing for years. It gets little or no care, but keeps plugging away almost daily.

Are you looking to sell it? They had a name for their different size, is yours a Drago? When you say row crop, do you mean 2 wheel drive? They were made in Italy.
