FFA tractor drive-in

how many FFA chapters had tractor drive-ins, also how many of what kind, any rare ones or cool looking ones? pictures would be cool. we had 6 tractors (crappy day):1 white( mine), 2 IHs,3 deeres, 1 new holland.

Liberty FFA in Indiana has a good one. It"s been 10 years since I was in school but we had everything from Wheel Horse to FWD. I believe they still have muddy truck day, but I think we ruined dirt bike/ atv day with the town cops.

When I was teaching, we started having one in 1994. Best year was 2005 when we had 42. Worst was in 1996 when it was 6 degrees and we had 5.

We had them when I was in high school...on Farm Safety day...but since I was the only farm kid in high school that actually lives on a farm and OWNED a tractor...I did it quite a bit.

They had a tractor day here in our little town yesterday. Probably about 15-20 tractors driving around town. The kids like to drive all over town and show them off. It's really fun to watch them go by. The town cop pretty much leaves them alone. What is interesting, is that the local farmers always "loan" one of their tractors to the kids who don't have access to one. That's neat.

National FFA Week musta just gone by. We had Tractor Day during FFA Week. There was usually up to half a dozen tractors. I usually borrowed a tractor from my nice old neighbor. This was Franklin Center FFA in Franklin Grove, IL...now Ashton-Franklin Center FFA in Ashton, IL.
