I think that actually most people can read the words. Our minds basically look at the first and last letters and automatically fill in the rest.

"You're" is the contraction of "you are".

It's easy enough to read, but the reason a lot of people point out typing or usage mistakes is when someone is on a rant and getting nowhere with it. Then everyone has fun with a dig. No wat i meen?
