Horse and wagon accident

Anyone read the story on the horse and wagon accident in Merdian,Miss?Fella from New Hampshire
making a trip from New Hampshire, with his RV wagon and 4 horses, to anywhere he wanted to go got hit by a 18 wheeler on a road in Miss.It killed 2 of his horses and laid him up in the hospital.I saw his picture in our local paper as he was traveling thru Sou.Indiana about a month ago.Google horse and wagon accident for more info.He shuold have known better.

I read the story. Did you notice TWO EIGHTEEN WHELLER COMING OVER THE CREAST OF A HILL SIDE BY SIDE. Cannot blame the Horses.

He came through here (Tupelo Ms) a week or so ago and some friends of mine met him and talked with him a while. Later, when they were telling me about him and showing his website to me I said "Aint no way I'd get out on the highway with that rig". Too many people driving with distractions these days.

Hav'nt heard about that,used to be 5-6 years ago a whole caravan would go by my place every summer,heading for a nearby lake.they were very careful to stay off main roads and would have a rider in front and behind to warn folks.noticed this year there was only one wagon making the trip.

I'm not blaming anyone but that long of a trip
he should have been expecting trouble and now he has 2 dead horses,a camper wagon gone and is laid up in the hospital,poor fellow and poor horses.

A Drunk driver did a hit and run on an Amish
buggy, in Vernon County Wisconsin, last Spring.
Demolished the buggy, Horse killed, Amish farmer
severly injured, hospitilized for some time.
The female vehicle driver was caught and was
sentenced to a (2 year, I think) Prison term.
