Need help finding this bearing

Had the bearing that holds the screw of our NH 306 side slinger manure spreader go out. NH will only sell the bearing and cast holder as one piece. No part numbers for the seperate pieces, just the two together. The two cost $765! They do give dimensions for the bearing. Sperical outer race to fit in say a flange or pillow block. ID is 2.9375 and OD is 5.1181. Possible bearing number is G1215 KRRB. I need to figure out if that is the bearing I need or if anyone can find one with those dimensions.

Howdy,

Caught your post on a spare moment here at work (CaseIH dealer) and did a cross on your number. Try a JD9307. That's the deere number it crosses with. I checked online and our local dealer here in Georgetown OH has them listed at $150.00. Much better than your 700 from the NH dealer. They are also ripping you off. Since CaseIH is hooked up with NH I can check part numbers and prices fro both. I looked up your bearing and housing (NH #9621993) only lists for around 489 on my lookup. Hope this helps ya out. If you have the dimensions, we have an idustrial bearing supply place here that carries timkin bearings and they can cross refrence anything and have always been able to get me what I need. (only thing they have drawn a blank on for me the last several years was for a fella disk mower and parts for them are way cheap compared to anything else I own.) Might try to find something like that around you.

Don't know where you are in IN but the place in Henderson KY is TriState Bearing and I am pretty sure they have a store in Evansville.

Give Gene"s Bearing a call at Antigo Wi 715-627-7300. The lady that runs that store sure knows her stuff and they are very reasonable. I usually get my parts the next day.

It is of an advantage, when designing equipment,
to specify odd, hard to find sizes. That way
you can capture the replacement business.
We learn from experiance, and firms that do this
are ones to avoid purchasing from.
That said--An industrial bearing supply house
should be able to help you out.
Clean the manure off before taking it in !!!!
