I am looking at a cub cadet original and need some advice. The tractor has a lot of options (headlights, 3pt hitch with brinly adapter, good mower deck, good snowblower, brand new tires, hubcaps, wheel weights, and creeper) and it has fresh paint (spray can) and a lot of parts. I can get it for 800. and wanted to know if that was a fair price? I've been looking for an original but was not ready to pay this much. However, with all the options it seems like it is worth it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
It's probably worth is. All that little stuff adds up.

I made a mistake and bought mine at they're peak value. Now I'm sitting on it and would love to sell it but not for half of what I paid for it. Heck I'm selling mine with a parts tractor and haven't had a sniff for quite a while.

Those little bugger are cute but I would love to have the shop space back now.

the engine is out of the tractor. He said it smokes a little on start up. He has a lot of extra parts including a set of rings and all the engine gaskets. Thanks for your 30 cents, I appreciate it.

I just wanted to say thanks for your advice. I bought the tractor for 750. I rebuilt the motor and it runs like new. There was a set of rings, gaskets, and new carb included with the tractor. I've always wanted an original and this one is really nice.
