the old lady I got this from gave it to me for some sheet rock work I did, she said it didn't run .After a half an hour, I drove it up on my trailer. But I ran out of fuel and got air . It hasn't ran since.I put nea rings and liner plate , rod bearings, head job. Still won't run or even get white smoke. I think its the pump I took ity out and cleaned it now it wont even start again???

Unlike many newer Deere tractors, all parts are available for that injection pump. It probably has stuck plungers and/or a broken governor dampener.

Injectors can be a different story, especially if it's a first year 1960 machine.

have you bled the fuel filters if it's a diesel??
