I have an Allis Chalmer WD tractor serial #AM3675-1, not running, and a Ferguson serial #12-6-49 HF tractor, not running. I need to know how much these tractors are worth. I need to sell them. Thank you very much. Please help right away. God bless you and yours...

can't help with the fergy.. but sadly.. on the wd.. even good runners are int he 1000-1500$ range.

look at a few sales boards.. wd's are decent orange tractors.. but just don't command a high price..

non runner is probably like any other model... 500$ and down..

In some cases I've seen non runners get upwards of 700$ if they have lots of goodies and rare parts on them and are in great condition otherwise..

If you HAVE to sell them (as opposed to NEED to sell them), you"ll probably not get much, because anyone who buys non-running cars, trucks, tractors HAS (in self defense) to offer low to cover possible repair costs, or offer scrap price just for the parts they want.
If there"s any way to get them going, even the engine running, they"ll generate much more interest (no husband, boyfriend, relative, friend, neighbor, easily influenced acquaintance who"ll bring over a battery and a couple gallons of gas to give it a try for you??). Seriously, feel free to email if you"d like. Bud.

That number is a casting number, not a serial number. Serial number of the tractor is on the left rear vertical face of the differential, it is STAMPED, and begins with WD. Can be worth anything from a few hundred dollars to around 1500- depends on tires, condition, running or not. Wide front end adds value. But non-runners are a big gamble for the buyer. Some won"t pay over scrap price for the iron.

Kinda hard to put a price on them without being able to see them. Where are you located? Maybe someone could pay a visit and take a look?

Thank you very much. I will look again. The Ferguson has a wide front with headlights. I haven't even looked at the Allis in years. A friend got the numbers for me. Thanks again...

I have a neighbor that wants to buy them. My husband passed away last year. My brother might be able to help me, ???. I will ask though. I haven't looked at the tractors in years. Thank you very much for your help. Take care and God bless you...

What would be a goodie or rare part? I know nothing about tractors. And, of course, I want as much money for it as possible. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. Take care and God bless you...

A rare part would be a dealer installed upgrade option. I'm not up on what's stock and what's upgrade on allis models.. but on say.. a ford, a sherman trans would be an upgrade option.. etc.

soundguy

So, if it had a new part put on, would it be a different color, or would it say "sherman" on it? Thank you so much, again. Take care and God bless you and yours...

We aren't just taking new parts hear.. but dealer installed OPTIONAL parts.. like upgrade options that were not stock on a basic configured unit.

Check a manual and see what it lists as stock, and or option installed equipment..

soundguy

Ok, I understand. I just don't have a manuel. They've been sitting in the field for years, and probably didn't have anything upgraded, etc. I need to get a closer look at them. I may go ahead and buy a manuel. If I find out something special on them, would you like to know? I thank you again for helping me so good. Take care and God bless....

Perhaps a trip to the allis boar dmay yeild some info from current owners on what specifically to look for.

Just because it's setting in a field now doesn't have any bearing on how if left the factory 50-60 years ago..

I'm finally going to get to go look at them today, the Allis and the Ferguson. I'll let you know what I find, if anything. Wish me luck! Thanks again. God bless...

Thanks!! Hey, by the way, I also have a plow, and an auger. Would you just happen to know about how much they would be worth?

In general, implements are worth 1/4 to 1/2 of new replacement prices.. if they are serviceable.

Plows seem to buck this and can be worth more than new, depending on model and style.. while others seemingly go for scrap prices.

what hitch design are they?

soundguy

Does a 3-point mean anything to you for the hitch design? It's large, I think it would furrow at least 16 inches. I have another plow that has sharp stakes on it at least 10 inches long. Is that to loosen the dirt? I have a neighbor that wants to give me $75.00 for both. Am I being had? Please advise. Thank you so much...Why do you call yourself "soundguy"?

A 3pt hitch is a common hitc.

sounds like you have a single 16" plow.. good fro 20-30 hp tractors.

price ranges on those are in the 100$ mark.

the other sounds like a spike tooth harrow.. 75$ probably good fro that one.

if you like the neighbor, 125 for both and nobody is being had.

soundguy

I didn't really know her before she found out I was selling my Ford Ferguson tractor and the implements. She became my friend overnight after 25 years. I let her have both for just $75.00. I feel like I've been had. Anyway, she's still my friend which I value. And, I really value your help. Can I consider you a friend also? You are so nice and know so much about tractors and implements. I'll be talking with you soon. Thank you and God bless you and yours...

Post if ya need any help. I'm much mroe familiar with the old fords thant he orange tractors.. though i do have a 49 allis G.

soundguy

Thank you. I have a Ferguson and the number I have doesn't come up as the serial #. It's an HF T04024. Can you tell me which Fergy it is? And perhaps what it is worth, also? I really appreciate your knowledge, and, of course, your help. Thanks again. May God bless you real good!!! If you need anything, stand on this verse, Psalm 20:4, and believe.

post a pic of that fergy.. also check for a data plate under the steering wheel on the dash..

soundguy

I'll have to take a picture of it. I'm going today to check out the data plate. It's a Harry Ferguson because it started with an HF, right? And about how much would I be able to get out of a set of tractor wheels and tires? I can find how much new wheels cost but nothing on tires. Did you read Psalm 20:4? It's a blessing. Thank you again, and have a nice day.

Wheels and tires, due to their size / weight almost always have to sell locally. probably get 75$ for a rear rim with good old tire on it as an assembly.

soundguy

Thank you so much. I've got pictures of the Harry Ferguson. Just need to figure out how to send them to you. Maybe I could put them into the Tractor Photos on the website. I'll let you know. Take care and God bless...
