good tractor with loader under 10k

hi guys
can anyone reccomend a good "modernish" "bulletproof" tractor with loader for under 10 k
around 80 hp pref 4wd

Might be able to now with the down turn in the economy but it's still a stretch. Finding something decent and not beaten for under $20,000 is a challenge.
 
Lot depends on where you are located as there must not be anything where you are or you wouldnt be asking. Just where have you been looking as there are tractors all over for sale. Why you want that much HP four wheel drive on a loader is somewhat confusing as asking on a site like this is also.
 
its going to be a tough find unless its worn out, with that much horsepower, what is your idea of "modern"? you might find a 06 or 66 series IH for that
 
The series IV Allis D17s, with loader, go for less than $10,000. Make sure it is a series IV though, the lesser series are less modern, by quite abit. Greg
 
A gas powered JD 4020 with a loader would come in under budget. But only 2 wd.

Or you could find a TLB for that much. May even find a 4wd.

Recent farm sale had a pretty decent IH 856 diesel with a WL40 Westendorf loader. Tractor brought 6000, loader 3000. Lee
 
Anything with that much HP that's only worth 10k now is not gonna be "bulletproof", because it's gonna be worn down. You might get lucky at an estate auction or find someone who's going bankrupt, but other than that, I don't imagine you'd find what you want for that price.
 
Here was a ad for a JD3050 4/wd w/cab a/c 6122 hours ...good original paint 85hp $19,999 John Deeres are really pricy around here.
 
There are a bunch of decent tractors on external_link. If you consider 10000 for the tractor only it will give you quite a few more options. If you try to get a 20 year old tractor with a loader on it for $10000 either it has a problem or it is really worn out. On top of that a tractor without a loader was never subjected to the abuse of a loader. That 2140 in the link in my other post has had a very easy life by the looks of it. Could be wrong but it sure don"t look abused. There are tractors like this all over the place. You just gotta take your time, do your research and look around.
 
You could probably find a Belarus or some other off brand foreign job for that money.

I doubt that you find any American brand FWD, 80 horse with a loader for that kind of money, unless it has extremely high hours and is pretty much worn out.
 

You beat me to it, an 825 factory cab, fwa w/loader would easily be under 10k,

Crude, and often the loader is worth as much as the tractor.

You will either get a good one or a bad one, you may luck into one someone bought new to plow their yard and it only has a few hundred hours on it.
