pop top or key type

What is your preferred can type for mystery meat such as spam, klik, Kam, Corned Beef, potted meat etc? Pop top pull tab or key?
You know, the old remove the key stuck to the side of the can, find the metal tab. Then roll the little strip of metal from all the way around the can.

pull tab, its nice for opening the cats food! You know since they cant wait for me to use the can opener. Godforbid it takes 20 seconds longer, even they have tihngs to do lol!!!!!

My wife has trouble pulling up some pop tops. She said the key was better at times.

Have a similar one. top left has a cutout so as to pierce a can, and the bottom is in the shape of a spoon.

I've had the same one on my keys for thirty years. Never leave home without it. It has never been sharpened and will still cut 1/8" cardboard clean as well as open cans and bottles. I also use it as a screwdriver in a pinch and as a mini pry-bar. ...Randy

I had one for years after getting out of the service. Always wondered why a simple thing like that worked so much better than other types. Guess I lost it somewhere along the way. I do recall that some worked better than others- if you got a really good one, you held onto it.
