Here are a couple of pictures of my Case 500 doing some plowing last summer. I was pulling my 3x16" Case CHA plow. Ground was fairly sandy so it was a lot of fun and easy pullin. Wish it would warm up enough to get back at it. We try to have a few plowing shows around here in Central Kansas each year.

Great photos.
I put in around 300 acreas of wheat in 1972&73
with a 500, I still consider it to be one of the best tractors I ever worked.

You may be new at posting, but it appears that you've got the plowing pretty much figured out. Very nice job (and pics are fine, too).

Bob,
Nice looking combo IN WORK CLOTHES like they were intended. Just need a couple more bottoms and a strean of coal black smoke, love the sound of them under load.

You're making my Heart Bleed Bob. Ran one of those 500's for a Neighbor one fall pulling 5/14"s and it was a good experience. That big Case would blow fire you could see after dark.It was along time ago and I was young so can't remember if it was Gas or Diesel. Seems to me it was a Diesel.

Great pic!! Just great!!! Now you've got me wantin' spring more than ever!! Can't wait for our club's plow days. Got any more pics? If so, shoot 'em along.

Nice pics to look at this time of year. We all look forward to the green of summer.

Where are you at in central Kansas? I"ve probably been at some time or other. Jim

I've pulled a 4x16" Case plow with the 500 and it doesn't have any trouble, but I can load the 3 bottom and tractor on my trailer at the same time with no problems. The 4 bottom and tractor make quite a load if I go to someone else's plowing show so I just use the 3 bottom most of the time.
