what happened to old?

Took his ball and ran home last time I seen'em,,, make 100,000 post and repeated 90% of whats just been said surly you gotta learn to live with the heat,,, I questioned him a week ago over his way to check a coil,,, must have stumped him he tried to wiggle out of it but just could not admit he was dead wrong,,, I really don't need his ball I have my own to play with,,, I am sure others git disgusted and lay low are just live with it till they can chifer the deal out,,, may-B hes out of beer and can not function at this time,,, dunno,,,, his military training should pull him thru

I think he got mad and left. Someone on here got on his case because he supposedly has about 10 or 15 tractors, and works on all sorts of rebuilds, and such. And, he is on 100 percent government (taxpayer) paid disability. I read the posts where some guy really let him have it about collecting disability. Tom

Getting harder and harder for me to admit that I'm wrong ALL the time. I feel like one of those old guys in that picture with the caption "we've been farming too long",like the little kids who said "been farming long". I've been posting too long.

Yugro
If you would be so kind and e mail me what board that Old is now on I would appreciate it. I need to check with him about some parts he may have.
Thanks Steve

Your remarks are offensive to some people, its remarks like these that have caused many people to move over to other sites.
Its a shame because there are some real nice people on here with interesting things to say.
The only reason I come here is for the Fordson forum where my interest lies.
I bet some people will bash me now for what I've just said!

Unfortunately, there are some who think all govt. payments are evil, and if someone is on disability, then, by god, he'd better just give up on life and sit in a chair. I admired Old's determination to do something, even if he couldn't do it at the pace required by employers. I've seen enough folks with bad backs, hips, etc. to know how they work- slowly, lots of breaks, lots of setting things up so they can do the task with diminished strength or agility (such as setting up a way to get back up off the floor, which healthy young bucks don't give a thought to). I take my hat off to someone who will do SOMETHING other than just wait to die. He may make a few buck from tinkering with tractors- probably very little. I don't begrudge him for it, and wish others could be a little less judgmental. Walk a mile in his shoes, guys, and be thankful you don't have to be in 'em the rest of your life.

Didn't mean to upset anybody with my remarks but did state fact. Go to Cowman's site and see for yourself, and what did he start posting about? Tractors, cows, trucks maybe? No, it's about worrying about how people view disabled people. Coincidence?

Being disabled is one thing, and a reality for old. But, he is able enough that we would never know it unless he reminded us of it constantly. His whining about being broke and then telling about going out on service calls in exchange for alcohol is what turned me off. Well, that and the fact that he had BTDT higher, harder, faster and farther than anyone on the planet.

Yep, just like some others on here that cant accept they can be wrong from time to time, and when you do prove them wrong, they go off ranting on Cowmans board about how the person who proved them wrong is sorry a heII, and knocks them every which way from loose. Go over and look at his member list and youll see. He himself left because Kim finally had to "tan his hide" publicly to make him stop doing what he was doing. He does still post though, but hes not advertising himself anymore.

I bought some parts from him one time - lets just say his description of their condition was 'optimistic'. He would not work with me on that issue. Be careful.
