I posted once before asking who had the oldest active tractor. Now i was thinking who will have the first gasoline or diesel tractor to hit 100 years old? that is including the production date of the tractor.

I know steam traction have the 100 year mark.

Froelich takes the claim on the first gasoline,
(or maybe it wasn't gasoline but you get the idea) powered traction engine in 1892.

Hart and Paar got together in 1901 to form Hart Paar and coined the name 'tractor'.

You're right. That Froelich could barely pull itself, let alone do any actual work. Hart Parr #3,built in 1903 is still going. It worked for 20 odd years on an Iowa farm and has been restored and is still being shown, but will be sent to the Smithsonian at the end of the tour.
