I can feel my arteries clogging just looking at it. Not sayin I wouldn`t dig right in if that were in front of me. I`m only human...

BTW I,m gonna have to report this because of it`s pornographic nature ;) sure has me cranked up anyway...

Yes! And it's healthy! I eat four strips of bacon and three eggs every morning and my cholesterol doesn't suffer nor does my weight. Weight gain comes from too many Christmas goodies.Jim

Got this off the net.

The word is derived from the Old High German bacho, meaning "back", "ham", or "bacon".

So, do you cook it in the oven? Line a cookie sheet (one-a-them with about 3/4 inch sideboards) with parchment paper and put the strips...not touching....on it; cook for about 20 minutes at 325 degrees until done. Bacon doesn't curl up; you'll never go back to stove-top phrying. Parchment paper is not necessary, but makes it much simpler; no cookie sheet to warsh..............

dang, looks good!!!!! gonna git my hellmans mayo, head of lettuce and some maters and i'm headin over!!!!!!!

Dang It Dave! I was drooling and shorted out my keyboard.

And I think I just heard the microwave...i think mine is ready. Oh well that resolution lasted 22 days!

If you ever in Michigan find a Tony's Resturant. There are several, one is in Birch Run just of I-75. Order the clubhouse sandwitch.

You're killing me !

This is all I get. Water, pea sprout sandwich with broccoli soup.

That's okay. When she ain't looking, I'll go outside and steal a piece of suet from the birds.....

That's just sad. Never make soup out of brocolli- its better if you just steam it. And that sandwich- better to avoid it altogether than to try to eat that thing. Instead of trying to dress everything up, just steam some brocolli, and heat up some chicken, and let it go at that.

TV talkers said the other day that it is now fashionable to put bacon in anything, even candy!
Hey if youall know where the word bacon comes from, where does rasher (of bacon) come from?

If you want some great bacon, the absolute best I have ever had go to Claus' German Sausage and Meats in Indianapolis. It used to be called Klemms. Same family though since 1913. GOOD stuff! The scrapple is awsome too!
