I live in Montana and have a friend who is organizing a tractor trip across the USA - a group from Australia driving Chamberlain 9G tractors. I would like to drum up some interest in this venture!

Ord River Dam and Cable Beach would not mean much to people overseas if they don't know where they are.
Cable beach, Broome North Western Australia
17 57S 122 6E
Ord River Dam Near Kununurra WA North of Broome.
15 45S 128 45E River flows into Timor Sea.

Further, hope you have the National Flag on that 9G.

Looking at their map it look as if they plan to run the Interstates, I70 thru Kansas, up I-29 to to I-80. If this is so they will get a surprise be cause the minimum speed on Interstates is 45 MPH.

That's more a car then a tractor. I think others have did that on tractors like an Oliver and a JD R and a fellow took a JD A from Alaska to Florida or something like that.

It is a Chamberlain 9G - they are not modified. It is an Australian tractor - made in Western Australia . see here: http://www.gibbstractorcollection.com.au/chambhist.htm

The reason I am posting is because I am trying to help them stateside by drumming up interest and support. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

When Kubota came out with the little BX model
we had a guy drive one from coast to coast something like 2,800 to 3,000 mile. Three sets of rear tires and a sore but. I hope these people are not thinking interstate. I think the law would prevent that. Looks like they are doing a lot of roaming around. I am right west of Nashville and think i could route them to southern Ill without interstate but getting into
souther Ill without getting on interstate or trafic tie ups will be intersting. Six slow moving tractors won,t be like one slow moving veh
out there. Just had a horse and wagon guy thru
here last week that had travled from New York and going to the west coast. Average travel 17 mi a day.
