I will be using primarily to disc(12ft dual gang disc), plant no till beans and wheat, cut, rake and bale hay both square and rolls. Which one would you prefer and why?? Thanks guys

It would depend on the condition of each. I am not too fond of the sound of the 4 cyl. in the 3020. For a small tractor I"d look for a 2510 or 2520 and if I needed more power I"d go for a 4020 or a 4010 in good shape. Check the pto stub shaft over good on the 4010. They were bolted on and can cause alot of problems if they were ran loose.
Lots of people liked the 3020 and it was a good tractor I just don"t like the engine.

I haven't run a 4010, only 4020s, but i have 3020 and I absolutely love it. Regardless of what they sound like, they are in my opinion very powerful for there size and very easy on fuel too. Have a loader on it and the tractor and its a real work horse. Also the 3020 is available with powershift

Get a 3020. Their engine is good and powerful. Their pretty good on full till you get that disk behind it. When I was young we had a 3020 and a 4010 and that 3020 would roll that disk all day long without using to much fuel but that 4010 pulling a 5 bottom breaking plow didnt do to good on fuel. I like the 3020 over a 4010. Their is only syncro on a 4010 but a 3020 had powershift or a syncro but I liked the syncro. People around my area didnt like syncro because they had to stop to shift from 7th to 8th or 5th to 6th ect.but I had no problem with that.

Both of them tractors can roll up some hay. We had a 3020 diesel that we baled hay with for years and it did great on everything. 24 volt system was on ours and it did great. Winter time it would turn it over quick for quick starts and we never had a heater on it. People do like the 12 volts though. Both are good tractors.

Sure it can ! Take a 440 2cyl. and run it right out of the top of the manifold and you will be deaf in short while. Sure sounds good while you can still hear though !

Well in a Short While You Will Prove You Are A Winner =You'll Be Deaf and at the same time prove your a real DUMMY !!!

If I was lookin at a 4010 or a 3020 my self I would rather look at a 4020. The 20 series has several mechanical upgrades from a 10 series that make it a little better. Both are good tractors and In my opinion very versatile tractors. Ive never had a 3020 and dont really know much about them but Ive had a 67 4020 diesel for a good while and had a 4010 briefly. But your looking at a 90hp for a 4020 and around 70hp for a 3020 and around 80-90 for a 4010. If your pullin a 12' disk on flat ground 3020 is prolly good. If your ground is hilly Id go for a little more hp. Im not sure how big a no till drill ur usin but Ill tell you if its 12' or bigger a 3020 prolly wont pull it very well cuz I have a smaller great plains I use to sew wheat in water ways in the fall I pull with my 4020 and it pulls good in the flats but isnt happy on hills. I dont do any round bailin but my neighbor uses a 4010 and has no complaints except no cab.
