Difference between a W4 and an I4?

How do you tell the difference between an I4 International and a W4? I have what I thought was a W4, but a fellow told me the other day it is an I4. Just wondering if there is a way to tell?

The serial number prefix.(IBH) I4 has a foot throttle, and the rear wheels are closer together. Some had a heavy duty front end. Also the gears are different when shifting. If I remember right, 3 and 4th gear are switch on the "H" pattern. (WBH prefix letters for the W4)

Thanks, I'd say it is a W4 then. The gears are the same as H's I've had in the past and there is no foot throttle.
