hi a am looking for good side paniels i can not find any and wondering what mags would work in it thanks

I am sure a lot of base-mount 4-cylinder mags would work, but the original mag would have been a Splitdorf 46C Aero, 1923-1926, or an IH E4A 1925 and on. A Robert Bosch ZU4 was available as special order.

thanks i should be able to find one at a local junk and if i do how do i know if it is good

If you get a mag out of a junkyard, it will most likely have to be rebuilt. I rebuild mags and can rebuild whatever mag you get, or I can sell you a rebuilt E4A.

i have an old mag off an allic typ 30 searal 4905587 fm #y1b7e it a farbank morse made for y76 this is what i found on it if it wont work and you have one ready to go how much for it thanks

my 1938 10-20 has the same mag. that the w series tractors use. it has the automatic impulse coupling.that was one of the changes that took place in the last couple years of production.also the gas tank was changed a bit. steering wheel also.

thats the F4 mag that it has from factory replacing the E4 mag.

The coupling for the E4A mag is different than the one for the F4 mag. I am talking about the part with all of the line up holes in it. Be sure you use that part from what ever mag you will use. Been there, done that.
