Gotta be one of the coldest nights we've seen in a while. Took ISD 47 until about 6am to post school was canceled. Kinda late, bus ussually comes at 6:15.

Well you are twice as cold as we are in central Il. I've only got -18 this morning.

I really feel bad for the cattle, they will think they are in heaven when it ht's +30 next week, will still be freezing but it is 66 degrees warmer for them. I'm sure some will have thier eyes teared shut this am.

I had 18 below at 5:30 this morning here at farmington. It has warmed up to about 11 below now.

Dave warm air is on the way. We were -24 at 6:00 and it is clear up to -15 now.

Warming a lot faster than it did yesterday morning.

This morning I got a low reading of -21 F when I drove to work. This was in the low land. Central
Ohio.

Ever here of Funk Ohio ? That is where I drove through to get that cold reading. It's about 10 miles west of Wooster Ohio.

Like davejoe said,not so bad in Michigan this morning. I only had -8. Everything seems to be adapting. Tractors all started in good shape to get chores done. Cattle seem to be taking it all in stride. It's all the way up to zero right now. I'm gonna have to shed the long underwear if this keeps up.

Still -26 up here at a quarter to 10 this mornin'. Gonna wait as long as possible to try and start the diesel today. 'Sposed to be above zero.

- 27 here new record low i'm told. we are to get to 0 later today oh my gosh is that what you call global warming?
where's Al Gore when you need him? I need someone to entertain the bull when i give the cows hay later today. they have been eating hay like there's no tomorrow.
the furance was starting ever 12 to 15 minutes over night.
