I can't take it. It was -23 windchill yesterday and today it's -30 windchill and tomorrow it's supposed to be -35 windchill. (-9.3F, -22F, -31F)
I didn't go to work today cause I had an appoinment but far as I know it was cancelled and likely the same tomorrow with these temps. What's the best gloves that you have had experience with. I have some thermal gloves withrubber palm and fingers and their the best I can find but for all I know their may be better out there. They have to be tight and thin enough to pick up nails, screws etc.

-47 windchill here this morning. Difficult to find any gloves that really keep your fingers warm and you can still pick up small stuff at those temperatures. I sometimes wear the ones you mention, then a second pair on top, that have the tips of the index fingers and thumbs cut off.

What about a pair of mittens to put over the gloves. For keeping warm till you need to pick up things, then just slip the mitten off with the gloves inside. It would be warmer than with just the gloves anytime.

Slid one of the chemical packs in the backs of your gloves. Works for me up to 12 hours.

Paid $6.00 for box of 48 at Fleet Farm just before deer hunting.

I bet you would gladly trade your outside job for an office job about now huh?

Its about -10 below here in Vermont without any windchill factor. Its cold enough so even filling up a vehicle at a gas station is almost too much for the hands without gloves.

Its days like this when I dream of living in the south. There is just no getting used to this weather!

Get one of those magnets that you can squeeze the handle to release the nails and screws. I wouldn"t use gloves with rubber in this cold. Shooter"s mittens would be good in this weather.

see if youuuuu can find some "chopper mittens" they are leather mittens with a wool liner warm as toast and EZ on and off
